Hi everybody! Shane again. Tonight we're having a pleasant time at the Fulton public library, but if you can't make it out, our next write-in will be at Well Read Books in downtown Fulton, 6:00 - 7:30 on the 16th of November. Come join us!

Hello everyone! This is your ML for 2017, Shane, checking in.

I've got some discussions going with local businesses and venues for write-ins, and I also have some stickers coming to give to you guys. So watch this space for soon-to-come updates! You'll have our whole event schedule and more.

To WriMos, one and all:

Be sure to check the Calendar (below) for the occasional update to the place and time of the next Write-In on the schedule. We've hammered out almost all of the meeting venues and dates (typically on weekends), but we may need to change the times for start and finish. That may occur to accommodate life schedules for some of you. Why would we do this? To make our get-togethers more accessible to the greater majority of the Writers. If you feel it would be better for everyone's interest to 'slide' the times for a particular Write-In, let us (Your MLs) know what's up, so we can adjust.

See you soon!
Remember: It doesn't have to be 'just right' just now...JUST WRITE.

Hi there, WriMos!

Welcome to the Fulton Region web pages for the 2015 NaNoWriMo writing challenges. Shane Kincaid and TJ Weeks are your Municipal Liaisons for this area, and we adjure you to get in contact with us to confirm your participation this year. You can use the built-in NaNoMail function here on the website, or you can use our e-mail addresses (below) to drop us a line. We also encourage phone contact with us to make our introductions personal and timely. Shane will appreciate text messaging, because he juggles two jobs; TJ loves to talk (ask anyone), yet he does hold down a 'day job', so a text message to check if he's free would keep his boss off his back.

We wanted to give y'all the basic 'lay of the land' here, with this Index, so you can easily add posts and comments to the small handful of threads for our Region. These are the Sticky Note threads we've set up for your use:

Programs! Get Your Programs! -- This is our Calendar of Events for the local area. Any writer in and around Fulton can keep tabs on when and where we'll meet for the Write-Ins scheduled in the days leading up to and the full month of NaNoWriMo.
Trouble in Paradise -- If you've got a niggling problem with your story--character, settings, timeline of events, character arcs, dialog, plot holes, SPAG, etc.--post some details here and one of us will surely help you address it, redress it, and provide the tools for you to fix it.
Success Stories -- Post 'how' you overcame a particular challenge in this thread, whether it's budgeting your time for writing, apps and tools you use to make NaNoWriMo easier, or how you worked out a 'sticky wicket' inside your story.
Gossip Fence -- Did you just want to kibitz about something totally unrelated to NaNoWriMo to 'take a load off' or 'decompress' from the sheer exhilaration of banging out 50,000 Words in 30 Days with 0 Excuses? Lean over to your neighboring WriMo and chat them up. It's all fair game, though do remember on ALL threads: there may be children present, so keep it clean. Private Message your Buddy if you don't want ~everyone~ to read your thoughts.
Be sure to check out all the Forums on the site, since some of them are chock-full of helpful information about navigating, setting up your My Novels page, and bucket-loads of advice on how to write your story so it's the Best. Novel. Ever!

Again, welcome to this year's NaNoWriMo challenge, and do stay in touch.
