Have you heard of Wrimoverse? No? Then head-to-the-thread below and read all about it! It's all about continents, timezones, MLs, wrimos, writing (of course!) and general madcap fun!

NaNoWriMo 2017: Welcome! A new theme, a new face, and a new beginning for the wrimos in Europe:England:Elsewhere. That's where you are: "livin' on the edge" of other regions in England.

The new theme: superheroes! try and work them into your November novel. (And don't forget your supervillains.)

The new face: Dr Jon joins Ros as a co-ML, with a special remit: he's focussing hard on wrimos in the Northampton area.

The new beginning: The forums have been wiped, as have your dashboards; have you 'announced' your new novel yet? I've even seen novels with the title of "Work In Progress"...

Check this forum often for official announcements, or on Facebook for fun (and prompts), or on Twitter for prompts (and fun). And don't forget ChatNaNo for the Kick-Off Party on Saturday 28th October, virtual write-ins each Saturday 4-6pm and 7-9pm (you don't have to come to both unless you want to!). Or you can have a Kick-Off Party and write-ins where you are - let me know if you want to put them on the calendar.

Get Ready for NaNo! 1st November is less than a month away!

NaNoWriMo 2016: Welcome! You've arrived at the Europe:England:Elsewhere forum page, where we're all about "livin' on the edge" - the edge of the country, other regions...even other planets, if that's where you hail from! (Have you guessed yet that this year's theme is SPACE: "Your novel. Your universe."?)

My name is Ros - yes, I'm a girl - and I'm your ML. Since our region is so spread out, most of our write-ins and communications will be online. (More about the chatroom in the forum below.) There is also a Facebook group and a Twitter feed, but if you want the news as it arrives - this is the place to be!

You can also organise write-ins in your local area - and if you want them listed on the regional calendar, there's a special thread and all you have to do is give me all the details (where, when, your name as contact). You can even have a Kick-Off Party where you are, or join in the online one on Saturday 29th October!

Even though we've got a little over seven weeks to go - it's never too early to start thinking...

Good luck, everybody!
